Apparently there is a quasi-standard that Google, Yahoo, Ask.com et. al. have agreed on w/r/t blogs, indexing new content, and the good ol’ fashioned robots.txt file.

A plug-in for WordPress automatically generates a new sitemap, archives the old, and alerts all of the above search engines (plus a few others) all as part of the regular functioning of WordPress. Slick.

Testing File Uploading

1.5MB file: konigi-wireframe-stencils-2-0-11

30MB file: steamboat-potd-photos

150MB file: Appeared to work, but had to kill the upload cause it was interfering with my wife’s WoW raid.

Apparently the upload is governed by two settings in php.ini: post_max_size *and* upload_max_filesize. These need to be changed from 55M & 2M to 2000M respectively. The php.ini file then needed to be spammed across multiple directories in WordPress install due to how BlueHost is setup.

Adding RSS Feeds To WordPress

Am trying to add a couple RSS feeds to this blog. Ideally the feed will appear on this site as a list, and upon clicking either the title or some other related link, the full content of the post will appear on this page.

All solutions so far fail in one way or another.
